Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your participation in the Arbolus Reward Program and establish the legal obligations associated with your enrolment. They are provided for transparency and to help you understand how rewards are accrued, requested, and paid. By enrolling in the Reward Program, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.

About the Reward Program

The Reward Program is an optional initiative offered by Arbolus to recognise experts who contribute high-quality software reviews to our database. Participation is strictly voluntary and is offered in addition to and independent of any other engagement agreements you may have entered into with Arbolus.

Eligibility

To be eligible to enrol in the Reward Program, you must satisfy all of the following conditions:

• You are an approved Arbolus expert with an active account.

• You have submitted the minimum number of software reviews required to enrol at the time of enrolment.
  

• Your participation must not conflict with any agreement, policy, or restriction imposed by your employer, your professional regulator, or any applicable law within your jurisdiction. You bear the sole responsibility for confirming such compliance prior to enrolment.
  

How rewards are earned

Once enrolled, your software reviews may accrue financial rewards based on subsequent engagement from Arbolus clients. The specific reward amount per review is determined at Arbolus's sole discretion and is contingent upon factors including, but not limited to:

• The volume and nature of client engagement with the review (for example, qualifying views).

• The relevance, depth, and uniqueness of the review.
  

• The successful completion of quality and compliance checks conducted by Arbolus.
  

Payouts

Rewards accrue as a balance in your Reward Wallet and become available for payout under the following strict conditions:

• Sole Responsibility to Request: A minimum balance of US$100 (or local equivalent) must be accrued before a payout can be requested. Payouts are not issued automatically; you bear the sole responsibility for initiating a payout request from your Reward Wallet by clicking "Request payout". No payment will be sent until such a request is formally submitted by you.

• Arbolus's Sole Obligation: Arbolus's sole obligation and liability under this Reward Program is strictly limited to the processing of validly requested payouts for accrued rewards that fully comply with these Terms.
  

• Processing and Fees: Once validly requested, payouts are processed through Arbolus' approved third-party payment provider and may take several business days to arrive, depending on your country and payment method. All payouts are made in the currency configured for your account. Arbolus accepts no liability or responsibility for currency conversion rates, transfer fees, or local bank charges incurred.
  

• Taxes and Levies: You are solely and exclusively responsible for declaring any rewards income received and for the remittance of any applicable taxes, social contributions, or other statutory levies that may apply in your jurisdiction. Arbolus does not withhold taxes on your behalf.
  

Your responsibilities

By participating in the Reward Program, you expressly acknowledge, warrant and agree that:

• Truthful Submissions & No AI: All reviews reflect your own honest, first-hand experience with the software in question. You will not attempt to manipulate the Reward Program through the use of fake, duplicated, automated, AI-generated, low-quality, or otherwise misleading reviews.

• Confidentiality & Regulatory Compliance: You acknowledge and warrant that you will not share confidential, proprietary, or non-public information belonging to your employer, your clients, or any third party that may breach any duty of confidentiality, trust or any regulatory obligation.
  

• Internal Policies: You shall fully comply with all internal policies of your employer regarding outside compensation, gifts, conflicts of interest, and disclosure.
  

Not employment

Participation in the Reward Program does not establish an employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship between you and Arbolus. Rewards do not constitute wages, salary, or compensation for services rendered to Arbolus. Arbolus makes no representation or guarantee that you will earn any particular amount, or any amount at all. Future earnings depend entirely on variables outside Arbolus' control, including client behaviour and the ongoing availability of the Reward Program.
